No real money moves through the app, and there is no card or bank link. Kroni is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android. The free plan covers one child and five active chores, and the Family plan unlocks more kids and chores. Kroni is made by Nilsen Konsult in Norway and is available in English, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.

Does Kroni move real money?
No. Kroni records balances and agreements. If you want to pay out real money, you do that yourselves outside the app.
Does my child need a phone or email address?
No. Your child can use the child view on your phone or connect their own phone or a tablet. You create the child profile; they do not need their own email address.
Does every chore need approval?
You choose whether a chore needs approval. When it does, it waits for an adult before it counts as approved and any payment is added to the balance.
How are savings different from rewards?
A savings goal holds money your child sets aside from their balance. A reward is something your family agrees on, such as a movie night or an activity, and your child can ask to spend their balance on it.
Does a timed reward block other apps?
No. The countdown helps you follow an agreed duration. Kroni does not control or block other apps on the device.
